EMDR Therapy: Healing Beyond Talking
Virtual EMDR in the Austin TX area & Florida

What is EMDR?
Trauma often lingers even when you try to push it away. Memories, body sensations, and emotions can resurface unexpectedly, leaving you feeling stuck in fight, flight, freeze, and fawn.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy designed to help you process painful experiences so they no longer hold the same power over you. Instead of relying only on talking, EMDR engages both your mind and body, helping you release what’s been carried for too long.

Through gentle techniques like guided eye movements and/or tapping, EMDR supports your brain in reprocessing difficult memories, reducing their emotional intensity and creating space for new, healthier patterns.
Why EMDR?
-
Goes beyond traditional talk therapy by addressing how trauma lives in the body and nervous system. EMDR helps you release what your body is still carrying.

-
Helps with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, phobias and other concerns

-
Builds resilience and a renewed sense of self through addressing the root cause of symptoms
